The IFAC 2014 Congress Secretariat has selected a range of hotel options for delegates to choose from and has negotiated guaranteed rates. There are comfortable and convenient options suited to every delegate's preferences and budget.
Please note that delegates may book directly elsewhere but the IFAC 2014 Congress Secretariat cannot be held responsible for accommodation booked independently by delegates.

Access to Congress Venue
All recommended accommodation is in the Cape Town central business district (CBD), within close proximity to the Cape Town International Convention Centre, the congress venue:

This map shows where the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC, the Congress venue), the Congress Hotels and My City stops are. It also shows places of interest like shops, restaurants, historical sites and places of worship.
Official Congress Accommodation Rates
All reservations are made on a “first come, first served” basis. The stated room rates were valid through 20 June 2014.
In order to finalise your accommodation booking, the full amount due is required in advance or a completed credit card authorisation form must be submitted.
Rates quoted are per room, per night, including breakfast, including 14% VAT, excluding the compulsory 1% Government Tourism Levy.

Accommodation Terms and Conditions
- Registration and accommodation reservations are valid once submitted.
- Completed registrations will be acknowledged by the IFAC 2014 Congress Secretariat within seven (7) days.
- All fees are payable in South African Rand (ZAR) within seven (7) days of invoice. Any short payment resulting from bank charges and/or exchange rate fluctuations will be charged back to the delegate.
- All payments to be made payable to IFAC 2014.
- All cancellations must be made and received in writing.
- Cancellation fees will be imposed as follows:
- Cancellations 90 days prior to the start of the Congress (i.e. before 24 May 2014) will receive a full refund of all monies paid less a 10% administration fee.
- Cancellations between 89 and 30 days prior to the start of the Congress will be refunded 50% of fees and/or accommodation amounts paid; if fees are outstanding the delegate will be liable for 50% of the fees.
- No refunds will be provided for cancellations within 30 days of the start of the Congress (i.e. after 24 July 2014) or no-shows; the delegate will be liable for the full amount due in respect of fees and/or accommodation amounts due.
- Completed registrations will be acknowledged by the IFAC 2014 Congress Secretariat within seven (7) days.
- Registrations are transferable to delegates not yet registered only if the IFAC 2014 Congress Secretariat is duly informed in writing at least 48 hours in advance of the start of the Congress.
- All fees are payable in South African Rand (ZAR) within seven (7) days of invoice. Any short payment resulting from bank charges and/or exchange rate fluctuations will be charged back to the delegate.
- Registrations may not be shared, i.e. company name tags will not be issued and name tags may not be shared.
